Artwork - batik painting.. 1st attempt

Just quick update..

I'm practicing on batik painting now. This is what I have done last night. I was thinking to sell it on eBay but it is too messy. Perhaps I can produce better next time. It is not easy to get all the wax covered the surface before the coloring.

One layer applied

Once the color spreads, I can see lots of part are leaking, so the colors spread out of the boundary. Hopefully, my chanting skill will be improve within this week. (I didn't do any batik for more than 10 years since I left high school).

After 2 layers applied

I tried to put second layers but the colors are not really dry so the wax can't absorb properly onto the facbric surface....
