December 2012 Contest Giveaway

Starting from December 2012 onward, I will organize contest  / giveaway more frequent on this blog. For December, this is what you have to do;

• The Contest

Create dialog or short story based on the cartoon sketch above. It can be sad, or funny as long as the judges fell happy and love it. Your entry can be either in Bahasa Melayu, English or Mandarin. Do send your entry in the comment section below . You can use either standard comment box or Facebook comment box.

Buat dialog atau cerita pendek berdasarkan kartun yang saya lukis di atas. Coretan cerita anda boleh jadi sedih atau lucu, yang penting dapat memikat hati para juri. Penyertaan anda boleh dihantar dalam salah satu bahasa ini; Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Inggeris atau Bahasa Mandarin. Hantarkan penyertaan and bermula daripada sekarang. Anda boleh komen samada menggunakan ruang komen Facebook atau ruang komen sedia ada di bawahnya.

Happy Deepavali to all Hindu friends out there.

Dev Deepawali (Varanasi)

Celebrations :  Gods descent to the Ganga ghats at Varanasi and aarti for the Ganga River

The Dev Deepavali ("the Diwali of the gods" or "festival of lights of the gods"), the festival of Kartik Poornima is celebrated in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. It falls on the full moon of the Hindu month of Kartika (November - December) and is 15 days after Diwali. The steps of all the ghats on the riverfront of the Ganges River from Ravidas Ghat at the southern end to Rajghat, are lit with more than a million earthen lamps (diyas) in honour of Ganga, the Ganges and its presiding goddess. The gods are believed to descend on earth to bathe in the Ganges on this day. The festival is also observed as Tripura Purnima Snan. The tradition of lighting the lamps on this Dev Deepawali festival day was first started at the Panchganga Ghat, about 25 years ago.

During Dev Deepawali, houses are decorated with oil lamps and coloured designs on the front door, firecrackers are burnt in the night. On this occasion, processions of decorated deities are taken out in the streets of Varanasi and oil lamps are set afloat on the river.

I'm updating this blog just to support and for back-linking my other blog for SEO contest, Eyriqazz vs Denaihati.

I knew it needs lot of hard work and effort to make my entry appear first in Google.com.my SERP. I'm still learning and I start to realize how important to learn SEO proper way. 

Previously I just apply only small amount of knowledge in my blogging practice. But now, I will learn it the right way for better use in future.

Controversy 2012 Olympics logo

This is the 2012 olympics logo that calls for controversy. Iran objected the 2012 London Olympics logo, claiming it is racist because it resembles the word "Zion." 

Bahram Afsharzadeh, secretary general of Iran's National Olympic Committee, said Iran sent a formal letter to International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge criticizing the emblem. The letter also warns of a possible boycott of the games.

The letter claims the 2012 logo spells out "Zion," a biblical term which is widely recognized to refer to the city of Jerusalem.
