Batik supplies : Where to find the supplier company
Cloth supplier now days also supplies 'look alike' batik fabrics which printed with the machinery equipment. It seems destructing the real batik industry while on the other hands give more options for buyers to get cheaper materials.

I just discovered another side of batik industry which gives an opportunity for some people to make extra money. I've met some of my friends make money with batik. What they do is selling those gorgeous fabrics to friends and relations. But another problem occurred when comes to find the batik wholesale supplier. Most of Malaysia supplier normally can be found in Terengganu and Kelantan. This is quite annoying as the location is far and it is not easy for them to get return order.
Yes, you can ask for telephone order and get them posted to you, but based on my experience, clothing orders especially for batik is not a good idea. Why? Because sometimes you will not happy with the materials supplied - in term of pattern and options.
Here I share the secrets on how to get the wholesale supply for batik. Normally there are locals producing batik with the small size industry. They are not well known and the products are supplies somewhere else. How to find and locate them? The simplest way to find local batik maker in your area are by referring to 'Perbadanan Kemajuan Kraftangan Malaysia' : Malaysia Handicraft Development Center. They have the data for those involve with handicraft products. You also can check on their website for the directory. All the best!

Kuala Terengganu one day trip
I went to Kuala Terengganu on last Wednesday to pick up Adam Harith. Suddenly he called saying that he missed me. Without second thought, I rushed there after finished pasar malam. Left Muar about 11.30pm. Reach Kuala Terengganu by 5.00am.
I stopped at Sultanah Hajah Zanariah Mosque, Kuala Ibai, famously known as masjid terapung (the floating mosque). I snapped some photo using my camera phone. When I'm done with the night scene image, suddenly a petrol car stopped and ask for my ID and licence. I handed those documents plus my kad nikah (marriage certificate). They came because a phone call from the public. I think that is very good attitude from the polis, to avoid crime and maksiat.
After breakfast, I get to the masjid terapung again to shoot for daylight scenery. Then I go to Adam Harith's grandmom, pick him up, and heading to Muar. I was stopped by police traffic this time at Muazam Shah road block, for speeding. ... Bad boy... One summon credited to me. Actually I've already tired and try to get home as soon as possible. Finally I'm home at 7.30pm (after 1 hour picnic at Gunung Ledang Water Falls).
Today is Saturday. I have to send Adam Harith to Kuala Terenggau. Sorry to Rohaizad for last minute cancellation of personal coaching, which is held today.
Here is another batik painting from me. This time, the quality is better than the previous one. I will get it frame and sell it on caftanOnline.com, not ebay. The price is not expensive as I'm still not a professional artist.

Orchid for desktop wallpaper, and my batik painting
Luckily there still some payment received for my stuff on ebay. I've been uploading the abaya, jubah and blouse for couple days ago. Now it's time for me to sit and relax, and waiting for sales and wathing some clips from YouTube.
I have second thought now about my listing for ebay Malaysia. Most of my customers has '0' feedback score. That's mean, they a really new to ebay. The problem is, some has made the purchase, but no payment received for more than a month. Sometimes they just ignore it. Now I start to feel give up to do marketing for ebay Malaysia. Previously, I quit from Lelong with worse problem.
Anyway, here are some images from my camera phone. If you want to download it, right click on the image, save as ....
Here is my latest artwork, which painted on viscose, using batik technique. I was thinking to sell it online but the quality is very bad. This is because of the long rest from doing batik chanting. I have to do more practice...
I'm so exhausted when rushing on pasar malam, doing ebay, blogging and manage Muhasabah Trading outlet at a time. I am going to Johor Bahru this weekend for blogging tutorial class; personal coaching from Rohaizad. I wish I can stay at home after this, manage my ebay and do blogging for my main income.
I'm getting old, and seriously I need more time to spend for my wife, Adam Harith and for the Almighty. I want more spare time.

Equipment : Tools for batik making
Jeng..... jeng.... jeng.... Muhasabah Gallery proudly presents : Batik - tools and equipment.
I haven't done any batik painting for quite a long time. I was so busy and really put all effort for my tudung business; online and offline. But since there were rain almost every evening, I feel like I want to reduce my pasar malam (flee market) activity. I'd like to stay at home, manage my online tudung and my shop, while do some batik painting, and turn it into cash.
I'm gonna do my batik painting, right after this. I will show it here soon. Wish me luck for another masterpiece!

Batik painting - Flower pot at the courtyard
Another batik painting done. This time, my chanting skills improved a lots but still got lack of colouring technique. I shouldn't put too much dark colors as it made the drawing dull. I supposed to highlight the front image. This is influenced by dim light ( I did this in the middle of the night till morning) and lack of patience.
I'm gonna get this framed, and put it on ebay auction.

Batik are not for SALE
Another batik painting done last night. This is not for sale because of the crappy quality. I was thinking something else but when I'm doing it, all the ideas just goneas I still can't control the melted wax flow.
The other reason I didn't produce well is because I'm still an amateur batik maker. I should use pencil to do the trace on the fabric, but I didn't. So the lines are not tele as it should be, for perspective drawing. My architecture skills has turned 'rusty'. My chanting technique still need more improvement.
...It's not easy to produce batik lukis as I thought before. Batik Lukis asli Terengganu is one of the best in town!
