Just wonder

I've stop myself from writing any story about tudung, hijab, jubah, and abaya since about 2 months ago. I tried few keywords to boost up organic traffic to this blog. But I wonder, those kewords from Nuffnang last week statistc (below) still bring main organic traffic to this blog. Just wonder why.....

Actually I'm impressed with keyword koleksi tudung ekin coming in to this blog (besides smiling at my cute lil wife.. :P ).. oopss poyo la plak..

Anyway, got to update and recheck my ebay order as some of the customers has already paid but still they didn't update the item no ( they should email me) as almost all tudung ekin got the same title. I only can track them through the numbers at the end of the title.

Muhasabah Trading;

The company registered with SSM (Suruhanjaya Syarikat-syarikat Malaysia) or Register of Company (ROC) on September 11, 2007. The purpose for the company registration is to deal with legal business and trade for women clothing (muslimah clothing: tudung, jubah abaya, salwar kameez (jubah seluar), jilbab and related. The first idea of "Muhasabah Trading" comes after big dropped in business and life of the founder : Rosmansham Alias (also known as samdaddycool in cyber world).

Muhasabah Collection;

Established since September 2002 on ebay UK under few different names. Starts from junk and unused items, collectors item and few more stuffs, mostly collected from Car Boot (garage) sales all around Portsmouth, Southsea, Gosport, Southampton area. Those Hampshire’s car boot sales are the sparks for me starting on eBay.
Now Muhasabah Collection dealing mainly with Tudung (scarf, hijab), Jubah (abaya), Jubah Seluar (kurta / shalwar kameez) and batik (kaftan, caftan, sleepwear, pareo).






After drastic change in life, I try with every piece of effort and spirit left in my vein to reconstruct, rebuild and reform the business plan. Bullshit if I tell you that everything that I achieve now is totally 100% of my effort. Honestly I'm only a human. I need support and help from others.
I'd like to thank my friend Hashim (Parit Bunga), Salem (brother in law), Raeefah, Roslee, Rizal and Rumaizah (my siblings), Alias Dawam & Fatimah Ithnin (parents), my uncles, aunts, pasar malam and pasar pagi members in Muar area. I really amzed with the sales of Tudung Ekin both online and offline, while tudung bawal manjalara has start losing the popularity. yet I'm still promoting tudung morocco which still lots of people didn't realized about the existance.

Now I'm run out of stock. The selling is very fast. "Macam Goreng pisang panas"..

FOCUS! drastic change to my online business

4 more days before 2008comes to the end. Still there are lots of target and resolution is accomplised. I got so many challenge and probably lack of experience and focus in doing internet biz.

There were lots of 'koleksi jubah terkini' hit this blog while batik lukis Terengganu sometimes coming in. My condition as a one man show businessman limits the precious time to do online business in batik, jubah (abaya) and tudung while at a same time I have to do offline sales in pasar pagi (morning flee market) and pasar malam (night market).

Tudung Ekin hit the nation with lots of promotion and gimmick from the wedding of Mawi and her. The opportunity grab by most bloggers to get the traffic while the tudung (scarf) supplier and the 'penjual' (seller) too excited listed on the front page of the serch engine.

I tried my luck in doing Google Adsense which seems better (besides struggling is still the keyword here) and the affiliate show up good results in adding extra online money to me as a part time. Clickbank also hit Malaysian in mid of this year when they re- open the market again for us to try our luck.

The world economy entering the dark side as it effected most of big company and factory worker affraid of losing their job. The commodity prices dropping quite bad especially Malaysia really produce big amount of rubber and palm oil. people start to be more careful in spending their money and we also have to provide extra money to prepare for the shcool kids. When the school term starts, parents need to buy new clothing, bag, and the stationery plus writing books.

Me here, doing the internet busines as one of my income stream still have to survive in the open market. The global trade especially ebay and lelong need more effort as more people are exposed to making part time money to keep survive. I have made a deep thought to keep my self employement surviving by dropping batik from my business and focusing on Abaya and tudung with more varities and selection. Pro blogger will be one of my new target in 2009 while I will put more effort in GA, affiliate and perhaps Chitika? My ebook project still not completed. The ebook kambing jamnapari need my final touch before it is publish.

I'm in rush. My wifi internet connection back to normal just today. I got more to write. Hope get more time tonight or tomorrow.

I'm doing google search today, about tudung Ekin and I found this on Utusan Online

It's totally nothing to do with Tudung Ikin available online, but since to many story about tudung Ekin, (plus they are arguing about the original or not).. I keep looking for this keyword.

Mawi & Ekin - the Impact to Tudung seller

First of all, congratulations to Mawi and Ekin on their wedding. 20th December 2008 will be 'One Sweet Day' for the couple. Wish them all the best and 'semoga kekal ke anak cucu'.

Since they become a couple, everybody are hunting for their 'hot and sensational news'. No matter what they do or what they said, it becomes a front page topic for some tabloid.

Ekin has built up her own reputation as a ratu tudung (queen of scarf) since she put it on.. Another phenomenon created same as what happened to Mawi, popular as "Raja sms" before. The new tudung style named after Ikin 's name becoming so famous just before she get married.

I just made a quick search on Yahoo and Google and I this is the results..

Honestly, me as a tudung seller don't want to loose the opportunity of this golden moment that might comes once in every 5 years? (Malaysian was hit by tudung Siti and tudung bawal Dato' K , couple years before).

The craziness of Tudung Ekin might loose the popularity in another year. Many patterns, style or even material produced as the version of Tudung Ikin.

..It is 2.44am, but I'm still awake. Just packed 2 parcels for my Lelong customers. Thank to Allah coz I'm still breathing under the waves of slow world's economy activity.

Tomorrow I got to go to Bukit Gambir for the flee market.. as usual with tudung s. Sometimes I'm a bit rumbling with the conflict to stick just with online business.. but on the other hand, offline business is still not bad for me when parents are busy with the schools preparation and waiting for end of the month to get their salary. Still I can manage few ringgits for myself some sellers didn't get what they are expected. . Even my earning is not as much as before, at least I got my daily wages.

Back with online biz, Lelong has its own magnet for Malaysian, rather than eBay.com.my which is not popular yet. Most of my physical products bought through Lelong. eBay? hmm.. mostly are overseas buyer.

Honestly I prefer to eBay which is easier to manage, in term of relist item, end auction, confirm payment, sell similar item, sold item and many more. However, the demand push me to stick to Lelong. But to play safe and to spread over my products, almost similar listing can be found on my ebay.com.my and lelong.com.my.

Hope sellers out there can share how they manage with this situation as sometimes I stucked with 'wise decision' to save time or to get more exposure..

I'm tired.. got to sleep.

It's been a while...

... I didn't do any promotions for Muhasabah Collection's of tudung, abaya, kurta or even jubah on samdaddycool.blogspot.com. But still got some keywords related, driving trafic to this blog. Probably because of my effort of promoting tudung and hijab last time. If not mistaken, I have moved almost everything about business promotion or affiliate proggrames to muhasabah trading blog.

Anyway, in this post, I just want to thank Allah, for giving me a chance and opportunities to survive and stay alive just by selling tudung, jubah and batik.

Sometimes I talked to myself, I still can't believe how lucky I am as a businessman. Lucky, because I can manage my own time, working for my own. The speciality of becoming your own boss is the time. You have your own time. You don't stick to other's rules. You just follow your rules. You are the boss. You work more, you gain more.

I already involved with this kind of Muslimah clothing for more than a year, as a full time seller. So far, Alhamdulillah, I can survive, even sometimes I'm a bit struggling, especially with the attitude, 'jiwa kacau', and unpredictable weather. "Kalau takut dilambung ombak, usah berumah ditepi pantai", a quote from Malay phrase.

People asking, why you got degree but you didn't apply for an architect position? Why? This question is thrown to me, once in the while. My answer are varies... , ' I like to do busines', ' I want to be a millionaire', "I can't work under command", bla..bla.. bla.. but trust me, the main reason for me of doing this is.. I have the freedom, my own time. So it will be easy for me to spend the precious moment for "my family" (soon), and the special one - Adam Harith.

Self employement is not easy as I thought before. It is a very though task. Especially when you got debts - credit card, car loan and business loan. When you face with the slow trade activity, that's the time when you are dealing with stress. Honestly, I'm still in learning process to become a good businessman. Succesful is still far away from my grab. But for me, I have a believe. Confidence is the key of success.

Painting for money, blogging for what??

Recently I've been working very hard to increase my income for November and December. Since the world economy has been dropped and effecting the buying power of most citizens. My ebay sales also dropped and it is far from my expectation. I have to put more effort to do sales offline and do another option for internet marketing.

This matter really made me sick and I always push myself for another solution and be creative. Alhamdulillah, my effort start showing good results. Honestly, self employement is not as easy as I thought before, especially when all the bills and debt are due.

Luckyly I have a gift as I can produce an art material (painting). These paintings has been posted to United States today (combined 2 paintings bought from the same person) with the posting cost of RM110.30 (nearly 2 kg weight). It is a good start for me to generate extra income from batik painting (batik lukis @ batik tulis).

This batik painting (burgundy orchid) just framed today and I am thinking of get it listed on eBay Australia for auction tonight. I really aware to open an auction @ eBay.com as people try to be more careful on spending their money. Even Christmas is just around the corner, I don't want to put extra promotion for ebay dot com.




My Stonehenge Horizon original oil painting is still on auction and there is no bid while
the time left is 2 days and 10 hours. The bid starts at USD $19.99 and there were 2 person watching the item. Dunno if they are really interested or just spying. Hope the bid can increase for higher amount at the closing.

I'm doing this as an alternative of making money online, while blogging is still something that I can't find the rhythm yet ... Why I am blogging??? Perhaps I can be a millionaire through blog? Another reason to put me into blogging are affiliate program (this already paid me quite a lot! .. so far).

Istill remember the matter that made jump into blogging world is because of the goat (kambing jamnapari). The blog was created just to market the goat at the first place. Then, I was eager to generate money with Google Adsense, that forced me to setup few more blogs (free blogs using blogger platform)... One of the blogs created was samdaddycool.blogspot.com (formerly known as duit2duit.blogspot.com).. :)

Now I'm addicted to blog and the internet while trying to market my products online.

Kongres Nasional Parti Keadilan Rakyat ke 5

I was in Shah Alam on Friday night. Get there about 11.00pm. The wheather is wet. It was raining when I arrived. I'm joining the karnival (expo) Kongress Nasional Parti Keadilan Rakyat kelima di Stadium Malawati Shah Alam pada 29 November 2008.

Here are some photo's from my camera phone. During Saturday, it was very bright, shiny and sunny day. I felt so thirsty, a good business for the drink seller. The crowds is quite impressive. They come from all over the nations. From Perlis down to south of peninsular, east coast and up to Sabah and Sarawak. The members of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) are so eager to see the President of the party on Saturday night. Datuk Sri Anwar Ibrahim show up that day to give the climax of the congress.. Me? Be there to make some money - with Muhasabah Collection - tudung, jubah and batik, plus some small jubah (for kids ) from mybrother in law's collection. We spent the whole long day over there. Unluckily, our booth is not really strategic as it located at the end of the retailer's canopy. Anyway, the visitors are still coming to us.

I am so tired and my body is so sticky as the sun shining brightly. The congress should be finishby today (Sunday 30th November) but me and my assistant 'cabut' straight away early morning of Sunday. We arrived at Melaka at 6.00am.. and I continue business at Pasar Tani Stadium Muar on Sunday morning.. damn.. so knackered! This is nuts!
