On the previous post, I did mentioned about the Masjid Tengkera Melaka watercolor painting for sale. Here I post the full view of the completed Tengkera Mosque painting.

The size of the painting is approximately A4 size [ 210mm (H) x 297mm(W) ] without any frame. Drawn on watercolor paper (sorry I don't have the data for the weight of paper). I'm selling this art piece for RM150 (USD$50) with free shipping within Malaysia. For overseas, additional shipping fees apply.

Finally I started my artwork journey yesterday. I forced my self to start the painting and I've made it. I will show the complete painting in the next entry.

Hopefully I can start selling my artwork very soon, just need to add on more paintings in the collection.

It's 2nd Syawal 1433H today, before too late, I'd like to wish Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all. Maaf Zahir Batin.

This year is very busy for me that limit my time for blogging and artwork creation. InsyaAllah, I'm trying all my best to get back to free lance artist / designer very soon. 

What I'm doing now is to establish and prepare solid base income from blogging and internet, before I can jump into this business for full time.

I should make this entry few months ago but I stored these images in my boy's notebook, made me keep forgetting the task.

Anyway, I'd like to thanks EmilaYusof dot com for cute adorable postcards and 2012 calendar. I've kept them in my postcard album, while the calendar hung in my little boy's room.

Format of the postcard, :

• size: minimum 10cm x 15cm, no more than 21cm x 29cm (A4).
• medium: anything, can be watercolor, oil, pen, marker, collage, crayon, oil pastel etc. 
• Please use clear spray for coating to prevent artwork from damage, or you can live it like that.

I've been working on another batik painting. I'm a bit busy at the moment. Hopefully I will finish it by next week. When it completed, I will listing the batik painting in my online store. Here I show you the painting in progress.

Just another video to inspire me to start painting again. I'm going to tidy up my small shop tomorrow. Then, I will provide my art studio section inside the shop. Perhaps I can clear everything by end of the week.

Painting business

I want to start all over again. I haven't done any painting for a while. Probably for nearly a year. I still have all my painting equipment store in my shop. I bought those equipment from the local art supply. Anyway I still need more source of art supplies to start my artwork. I have to get them from Kuala Lumpur.

I prefer to do landscape painting but I can do custom oil paintings, depends on clients request. If you like my artwork, you can buy fine art from my online art gallery. For the beginning, I've listed 1 oil painting for you to see.

I will produce more paintings soon. Maybe I can paint corporate art or an abstract? I've seen lots abstract art for sale from other artist, and they are doing very good with the abstract art.

Kuala Terengganu one day trip

I went to Kuala Terengganu on last Wednesday to pick up Adam Harith. Suddenly he called saying that he missed me. Without second thought, I rushed there after finished pasar malam. Left Muar about 11.30pm. Reach Kuala Terengganu by 5.00am.

I stopped at Sultanah Hajah Zanariah Mosque, Kuala Ibai, famously known as masjid terapung (the floating mosque). I snapped some photo using my camera phone. When I'm done with the night scene image, suddenly a petrol car stopped and ask for my ID and licence. I handed those documents plus my kad nikah (marriage certificate). They came because a phone call from the public. I think that is very good attitude from the polis, to avoid crime and maksiat.

After breakfast, I get to the masjid terapung again to shoot for daylight scenery. Then I go to Adam Harith's grandmom, pick him up, and heading to Muar. I was stopped by police traffic this time at Muazam Shah road block, for speeding. ... Bad boy... One summon credited to me. Actually I've already tired and try to get home as soon as possible.Finally I'm home at 7.30pm (after 1 hour picnic at Gunung Ledang Water Falls).

Today is Saturday. I have to send Adam Harith to Kuala Terenggau. Sorry to Rohaizad for last minute cancellation of personal coaching, which is held today.

Here is another batik painting from me. This time, the quality is better than the previous one. I will get it frame and sell it on caftanOnline.com, not ebay. The price is not expensive as I'm still not a professional artist.

Orchid for desktop wallpaper, and my batik painting

I'm bored actually. A bit tired because just finished rally at pasar malam, pasar pagi and pasar tani during weekend. Not much sales generated as the month is up to the end. This is the period when people start cutting their budget and waiting for the monthly wages payment. Besides, the wheater is not really good for outdoor activities.

Luckily there still some payment received for my stuff on ebay. I've been uploading the abaya, jubah and blouse for couple days ago. Now it's time for me to sit and relax, and waiting for sales and wathing some clips from YouTube.

I have second thought now about my listing for ebay Malaysia. Most of my customers has '0' feedback score. That's mean, they a really new to ebay. The problem is, some has made the purchase, but no payment received for more than a month. Sometimes they just ignore it. Now I start to feel give up to do marketing for ebay Malaysia. Previously, I quit from Lelong with worse problem.

Here is my latest artwork, which painted on viscose, using batik technique. I was thinking to sell it online but the quality is very bad. This is because of the long rest from doing batik chanting. I have to do more practice...



I'm so exhausted when rushing on pasar malam, doing ebay, blogging and manage Muhasabah Trading outlet at a time. I am going to Johor Bahru this weekend for blogging tutorial class; personal coaching from Rohaizad. I wish I can stay at home after this, manage my ebay and do blogging for my main income.

I'm getting old, and seriously I need more time to spend for my wife, Adam Harith and for the Almighty. I want more spare time.

I haven't done any batik painting for quite a long time. I was so busy and really put all effort for my tudung business; online and offline. But since there were rain almost every evening, I feel like I want to reduce my pasar malam (flee market) activity. I'd like to stay at home, manage my online tudung and my shop, while do some batik painting, and turn it into cash.

I'm gonna do my batik painting, right after this. I will show it here soon. Wish me luck for another masterpiece!
