John Carter movie 2012

My mood and interest to do architecture related job is increasing within this week. It is improving and I feel much better when doing design, presentation and drafting compare to last 3 weeks.

My passion in blogging also increasing as I'm now start to hate cigarette's smell (I've give up smoking for more than a month now). Thanks to my wife, my sons and friends for full support and encouragement for me quit smoking.

Before ending this short entry, I'd like to share John Carter movie trailer as I find it quite interesting. I start google for the movie as I keep listening for radio advert, when they promoting the movie free ticket giveaway. Maybe I will go to watch it in cinema.

p/s-  I find it hard to download free movies nowdays since the case of megaupload founder , Kim Dotcom facing the trial.

Extension files

I just found a place to download extension files, which commonly used in IT related business. Those 3 files entensions are mailhost, WPS and dbf. Actually I really don’t know that people are looking for these kinds of extension files and use them regularly.

After I did some research, here are some basic explanations of the extension files:

• mailhost file - used by the Microsoft MSN Explorer program that integrates several features of MSN and Windows Live, such as Windows Live Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger.
• WPS file extension - Microsoft Works save file specific to certain versions of the Works Word Processor. It will use up less disk space and smaller memory, plus compatible with older computers and accessible without proper system required to run standalone versions of the applications that the Works Suite used.
• dbf - most commonly associated with dBase, a database creation and management tool from dataBased Intelligence, Inc. The format is using to store multiple records together with the various field categories grouped by type, which allows for search and queries efficiency with minimum loss of data.

I’m glad I just discovered those features and I need to explore more to maximize the advantage of using the extension files. I’m going to download them all and see what can I do to associate them with my job.

Kuala Terengganu one day trip

I went to Kuala Terengganu on last Wednesday to pick up Adam Harith. Suddenly he called saying that he missed me. Without second thought, I rushed there after finished pasar malam. Left Muar about 11.30pm. Reach Kuala Terengganu by 5.00am.

I stopped at Sultanah Hajah Zanariah Mosque, Kuala Ibai, famously known as masjid terapung (the floating mosque). I snapped some photo using my camera phone. When I'm done with the night scene image, suddenly a petrol car stopped and ask for my ID and licence. I handed those documents plus my kad nikah (marriage certificate). They came because a phone call from the public. I think that is very good attitude from the polis, to avoid crime and maksiat.

After breakfast, I get to the masjid terapung again to shoot for daylight scenery. Then I go to Adam Harith's grandmom, pick him up, and heading to Muar. I was stopped by police traffic this time at Muazam Shah road block, for speeding. ... Bad boy... One summon credited to me. Actually I've already tired and try to get home as soon as possible.Finally I'm home at 7.30pm (after 1 hour picnic at Gunung Ledang Water Falls).

Today is Saturday. I have to send Adam Harith to Kuala Terenggau. Sorry to Rohaizad for last minute cancellation of personal coaching, which is held today.

Here is another batik painting from me. This time, the quality is better than the previous one. I will get it frame and sell it on caftanOnline.com, not ebay. The price is not expensive as I'm still not a professional artist.

I'm bored actually. A bit tired because just finished rally at pasar malam, pasar pagi and pasar tani during weekend. Not much sales generated as the month is up to the end. This is the period when people start cutting their budget and waiting for the monthly wages payment. Besides, the wheater is not really good for outdoor activities.

Luckily there still some payment received for my stuff on ebay. I've been uploading the abaya, jubah and blouse for couple days ago. Now it's time for me to sit and relax, and waiting for sales and wathing some clips from YouTube.

I have second thought now about my listing for ebay Malaysia. Most of my customers has '0' feedback score. That's mean, they a really new to ebay. The problem is, some has made the purchase, but no payment received for more than a month. Sometimes they just ignore it. Now I start to feel give up to do marketing for ebay Malaysia. Previously, I quit from Lelong with worse problem.

Here is my latest artwork, which painted on viscose, using batik technique. I was thinking to sell it online but the quality is very bad. This is because of the long rest from doing batik chanting. I have to do more practice...



I'm so exhausted when rushing on pasar malam, doing ebay, blogging and manage Muhasabah Trading outlet at a time. I am going to Johor Bahru this weekend for blogging tutorial class; personal coaching from Rohaizad. I wish I can stay at home after this, manage my ebay and do blogging for my main income.

I'm getting old, and seriously I need more time to spend for my wife, Adam Harith and for the Almighty. I want more spare time.

Rabbit for sale, hamster for stew

Last Friday, I had usual activity at the Pasar pagi Bukit Gambir, Muar. When I arrived, I saw someone new among the other sellers. Wonder what he is selling?

There are hamster and rabbit (the meat can make nice satay.. nyum.. nyumm..). The guy selling them actually is a businessman running ice cube company, in Tangkak. The hamster and rabbit actually is his pet. His hobby.

When the pets family size expanding, he turn his hobby into money... sell them! Very smart thinking to generate money from what he enjoy. This matter was eleborated by Dr. Irfan Khairi in his blog before.

So people out there, if you got very nice hobby, why not turn them into money? The slow economy might effect the expenditure and the household budget. This is the time for you to generate extra income during inflation. No regret. Your hobby - you love them, and you enjoy them. The worth part, you'll love the money!

The Eye of Melaka

Melaka aka Malacca is the historic city of Malaysia still has the historical monument left by the Portuguese, when they colonized in 16th century. The most historic monument is A Famosa. Beside the historical monument, the government of Melaka has made a big conservation work to Melaka River and become new attraction. We can have river walk on the pathway alongside the riverbank with nice view of Melaka old buildings plus original traditional Malay house at Kampong Mortem.

I went to Tangkak High Court

My little brother and I went to Tangkak High Court on Friday caused we got uncompound summons (saman) for me - driving without road tax, and him - let the vechile driven without legal road tax (kesalahan JPJ akta pengangkutan jalan - tidak boleh kompaun). The fine? He was charged RM100 while me fined for RM 90.00 ... quite lots of money.. huh! You have to appeal (kind of begging) if you want the fine to be to minimalize. Otherwise the maximum fine can be up to RM2000 .

I like night shot

Pekan Rabu known as Pekan Mati (dead town) among Muarian. The building was built and maintain by MPM - Majlis Perbandaran Muar.

Why it is dea? This is an opinion from me - from the view of architecture related person.

The main point of the place become 'dead';

1. The main entrance
Crowds mostly should be the pedestrian - those whom get to the town by bus. The main entrance doesn't have the 'sense of welcoming'. It should be placed as dual entrance, one from the main road, and the other one from bus station side. (The existing main entrance is facing main road - Jalan Petrie, while the entrance for bus user are very cramp and not welcoming at all).

2. No attraction in the square.
The square area surrounded by Pekan Rabu's shop lot with no activity. Void without any shading device, fountain or playing zone. The beautiful view of the river are totally wasted.

3. Parking space
No proper parking space for visitors that purposely come to the area. People are getting lazier to walk! The parking lot at the taxi station looks abandoned. New visitors to Muar didn't notice about the existence of the carpark next door..

4. Planning
There should be a wise planning about the taxi and the bus - which should be centralized, while the shops and the food court together. The designer did the job well? Of course not.

So it is time for MPM (Majlis Perbandaran Muar) to redesign or workout the best solution to bring back the activity and make it happening. This is to prevent 'our money get wasted', besides it will help the retailers to 'breath again'.

I am one of the tenant at Pekan Rabu. Seriously, we are dying!

Pulau Besar Melaka

I've been using jalan lama Muar-Melaka for about more than 30 years but I just discovered the way to Pulau Besar (Big Island, Malacca) last month... what a shamed! Hope I can go there during school holidays with Adam Harith.

I really don't really set what I'm going to write about this paddy field picture. This post is the consequences to previous post. Got few in mind but don't really get into it. This is because I am now on the left wing (external) of Petronas Merlimau Melaka, using the wifi. The environment not really encourage me to extract ideas from my head.

So, this time, just showing you more new pics of my photo gallery.. Sawah padi. Maybe some of you have tried 'mandi tali air'.. syokkk woo! which I've experienced the beauty, the joy and the sweetness of my childhood days past end of 80s. Really those kind of rough boys activity, seems hard for kids these days to experience.

I love greenery views, I am more into nature, peaceful kampung environment, river, sawah padi, waterfalls, far away from hectic city life... which I left couple years ago. Maybe this is related to my style - poetic, 'blues' and environmental type.

Pasar malam.. what so special?

Today I do business at pasar malam Pesta, Bakri, Muar. Killer pasar malam for me. I did photo shot here with the kebab guy, keropok lekor and 'ikang tuke' (apa ni??)
The kebab taste, sooo delicious, nyum, nyum... Keropok lekor .. no doubt (this is a product of JB, not Terengganu)... Ikang tuke.. no regret!
