I just get my car back today from the workshop. I had full service for the car. Previously I'm using cooking oil as the engine oil based on Rohaizad's :Pengalaman sebenar menggunakan minyak masak sawit sebagai minyak hitam kereta. This time, I've been told by the mechanic to use original synthetic 4T engine oil.
Why?
- The car has oil seal leaking before and it worsen. When they opened it, the oil seals already come off. Based on the mechanic, this is because the cooking oil is not thick enough, make it very thin and slippery.
- The palm oil already get into the clutch plate. He says, even the clutch plate washed, it will slips if it is reused, because the palm oil already absorbed in.
The clutch plate need to be replaced with the new one while actually its still good and can be use for quite a long period. One part wasted, which cost me RM 188.00
This time I'm not using the cooking oil as the engine oil. The mechanic advised me not to save few dollars but spend more at the end. Me.... I am stubborn. I'd like to use it again in the future. My analysis : it is not because of the quality of the palm oil, it is because I've been using it for too long (3 months ++), without changing to the new one.
Silly me..
haha..cannot say i can't agree with you..please use cooking oil in the future..want to see more of this...
ReplyDelete:P ... I will use it again if no one stops me (my friend advised me not to use it : he teach engine at IKBN )
ReplyDeleteuse engine oil for cooking.. it's good to maintain your body shape..
ReplyDeleteif it's a new car, i wud mind. but if it's an old car, tak kisah lah. busuk-busuk .. can still trade in for 5K :)
ReplyDeleteBudeen> use palm oil to cook your engine, use engine oil for cooking... That's brilliant! :D
ReplyDeleteAzwan> What to do, I am a risk taker.. kadang-kadang aku rasa kurang sihat melakukan perkara-perkara yang kurang sahih...
I love to see you continue with this palm oil into your engine. I want to see what is the outcome. Good and courages effort.
ReplyDeleteCyza> I hope I can do it again. I will prove it to the mekanik that it works. I still believe in it. I'm dare to experiment it on my car as some already used it for about 3 years. Actually my car already have the leaking. It spoils those parts because I'm still running it for long period before get it fixed.
