Recently I was busy updating my ebay listing and posting. Promoting tudung ekin. Put aside the priority of this blog as a medium for art and photo blog.


Date : 12 January 2009
location : my house, Parit Bunga, Muar.

I was sitting at the dining table. The time is about 8pm. Suddently I heard smashing sound outside, plus screaming noise. Then another crash sound, follow up few seconds later. Me and my mom panic! What noise was that?
We ran outside, straight to the roadside. There was a bicycle on the roadside, a bike in the middle of the road, and a proton saga car thrown into the bushes. The smokes are still there.

The victim was a Bangladeshi (Bangla guy), riding without any light or reflector. He was hit
by the motorbike, and the car came few seconds later. The driver can't see anything as that place is very dark without any lamp post. The car flew over the stream (parit) and luckyly the car driver didn't have any injuries. Another 2 guys just have minor injuries, few scratches and external bleeding.

By the time I get to the tragedy, I made a phone call to the emergency numbers, 999. The funny thing is,

"Hello, ada excident kat batu 4 Parit Bunga" "Tempat tu kat mana cik?" "Batu 4, Parit Bunga" "Negeri mana tu?" I just realized, the operator is centralize... :P "Owh, sorry kat Muar" "Kejap cik, saya sambungkan ke hospital Muar"


When the ambulance arrived, they made quick check up to them, and asking few questions. They look so professional.

Normally, when something unpredictable happened, we are not really alert . We can't think much. I can see the blurr face of them. Even me, when I made the call, I forgot to tell complete information.

But the moral here, please use light / reflector when riding a bicycle on the night time. The bicycle caused the accident here. He should learn something.
