Kluang station at TESCO Melaka

Lots of SAJOHA members (SMSJ, Kluang) really enjoy having kopi 'O' (black coffee) and roti bakar (toast bread) at Kluang train station. I went to TESCO Melaka (next to Melaka Sentral) and I snap this photo. I guess this might be the new version of that Kluang Train Station kopitiam.

Anyone who knows about this?

Korban adalah ibadah

Aidiladha, hari yang lebih dikenali sebagai hari raya haji di kalangan masyarakat kita. Pengertian korban (qurban) yang bermulanya di Kota Mekah apabila Nabi Ibrahim diperintah untuk menyembelih anaknya, Nabi Ismail.. mempunyai 1001 makna di dalam cerita.

Bagi para jemaah haji, kudoakan kalian berjaya menyempurnakan ibadah haji, seterusnya mendapat haji yang mabrur. Bagi para muslimin yang melakukan ibadah korban - tak kira lembu, kambing, kibas, mahupun unta.. semoga mendapat keberkatan dalam melakukannya dengan ikhlas.

Selamat menyambut hari raya korban 1429.

Keledek Vitato ???

I do business as usual at Pasar tani Muar (stadium Sultan Ibrahim). There was a promotion of Keledek Vitato by FAMA Muar. Suddently the rain comes... My tudung get wet a little bit...


Along with the promotion, there were some events organized such as cooking invention competiton - receipe using keledek vitato, lucky draw and quiz.


Anyway, lets see what so special about 'keledek vitatto'.

1. Produce 40 tons per hectre or 5 times more than usual sweet potato.
2. Give an income of RM2,000 per hectre ..
3. Full of vitamin A and Beta Carotene. Suitable as a substitute to wheat flour in cake processing, bread and even juice!
4. Another new invention done by MARDI.
5. Better option to replace tobacco farming..

Ubi keledek jenis Vitato dilancar

Muhyiddin Mohd.Yassin melihat ubi keledek Vitato pada majlis pelancaran jenis ubi keledek baru di Stesen MARDI Telong, Bachok, Kelantan, semalam.

BACHOK 12 Jun – Menteri Pertanian dan Industri Asas Tani, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin hari ini melancarkan ubi keledek jenis baru – ‘Vitato’ yang mampu mengeluarkan hasil sehingga 40 tan sehektar atau lima kali ganda berbanding jenis terdahulu.

Dengan pulangan hasil dianggarkan mencecah purata RM2,000 sebulan bagi sehektar, jenis Vitato, hasil penemuan Institut Penyelidikan dan Pembangunan Pertanian Malaysia (MARDI) itu dianggap cukup berpotensi untuk menjadi tanaman komersial dan alternatif kepada tembakau.

Malah jenis berkenaan yang kaya dengan vitamin A dan beta karotena itu juga dikenalpasti sesuai untuk dijadikan pelbagai jenis produk daripada bahan gantian tepung gandum dalam pembuatan roti dan kek sehingga kepada jus minuman...

Batik painting - burgundy orchid

This is my latest painting, done within 3 hours.. Actually I did this in rush because I have promised my self to produce at least 1 painting within every 3 days.

I didn't sleep the whole night did this at 7am and completed before I'm going to KL by bus (to get more stock for tudung)...

Still in rush now, coz I'm going to pasar pagi Parit Sulong ... didn't get and appropriate time to get it listed on eBay for auction.. (to be framed)

At last..... my batik painting sold..

At last 2 of my batik paintings are sold! Not long after I started my own journey in batik painting.... The price is not really good for the effort spent, but I'm pleased that among my early painting has it's own value.

I went to Tangkak High Court

My little brother and I went to Tangkak High Court on Friday caused we got uncompound summons (saman) for me - driving without road tax, and him - let the vechile driven without legal road tax (kesalahan JPJ akta pengangkutan jalan - tidak boleh kompaun). The fine? He was charged RM100 while me fined for RM 90.00 ... quite lots of money.. huh! You have to appeal (kind of begging) if you want the fine to be to minimalize. Otherwise the maximum fine can be up to RM2000 .
