Eating scented rice

Today I went to Kampung Payamas, Tangkak.. for My Best Friend's Wedding, Mohd. Azri A. Rahman, my former scoolmate of SMSJ, Kluang, batch SPM 1993. The last time I met him probably about 10 years ago... (lama sunggoh!) Also met Hairul Azam Baharin (known as Jamak). We had chat and continue chatting at the restaurant.

Another person comes - Shahrul Nizam Sabaree (Serabai) and ..( I'll update tomorrow.. forgot who??? ).. Me and Jamak arrived about 4pm. (Suddenly it starts raining...) We didn't plan to meet up and I also didn't meet him since we left school (15 years ago.. woahooo .. lamanya!)

It's been 15 years... most of us has get married, some still hunting, still waiting and 'looking for new opportunity'. Whatever the reason, marriage need sacrification from both husband and wife. Marriage means you have to spend your time with the new situation, where you start sharing on almost everything - time, story, bedroom, bathroom, etc.

It is easy to get married but how to manage the marriage is a very though job. TRUST is the main important thing - and believe whatever our couple doing, they are on the right path.

To Azri aka Uyok.. TAHNIAH.!! Selamat pengantin baru, semoga kekal ke anak cucu serta mendapat keberkatan dunia dan akhirat.. Amin.

Muar second Jamek Mosque, located at Tg. Agas (Tanjung Agas), Muar. Sit on the Muar river banks, next to ST Factory. This masjid photo taken on the afternoon, on the way back from Pasar Tani Muar.

The mosque constructed to to provide alternative for the 1st mosque across the river especially during Friday prayer.

The masterpiece is one of my new creation in art, while previously I am more into watercolor and oil painting.

Measurement approx : 25.5" x 36" (with frame) painting size 19.5 " x 30 "

Avoid contact with water as this batik painting is not applied with color fixative.

Pulau Besar Melaka

I've been using jalan lama Muar-Melaka for about more than 30 years but I just discovered the way to Pulau Besar (Big Island, Malacca) last month... what a shamed! Hope I can go there during school holidays with Adam Harith.

I really don't really set what I'm going to write about this paddy field picture. This post is the consequences to previous post. Got few in mind but don't really get into it. This is because I am now on the left wing (external) of Petronas Merlimau Melaka, using the wifi. The environment not really encourage me to extract ideas from my head.

So, this time, just showing you more new pics of my photo gallery.. Sawah padi. Maybe some of you have tried 'mandi tali air'.. syokkk woo! which I've experienced the beauty, the joy and the sweetness of my childhood days past end of 80s. Really those kind of rough boys activity, seems hard for kids these days to experience.

I love greenery views, I am more into nature, peaceful kampung environment, river, sawah padi, waterfalls, far away from hectic city life... which I left couple years ago. Maybe this is related to my style - poetic, 'blues' and environmental type.

Blogging Challenge... year end 2008

I'd like to take a challenge. For me, a challenge spark my mind, boost up my spirit. Rohaizad dot com just made a challenge to himself and he invite anyone to join... just for blogging spirit cum there will be 'something' gain through the end of 2008 journey.

I started blogging as a person who are trying to market jamnapari goat (kambing jamnapari) which I spent my soul there during 2006 - 07. As time passing by, blogging turned into something that can generate money online for me (even not much). I keep on searching on the best way to make money online. Till I start knowing few bloggers who are teaching me (direct and indirectly) the blogging steps, the make money method, niche, and so many other terms in the term of blogging.

Blog can be on free platform such as blogger or wordpress and can be on independent dot com, dot net or dot us platform. (Paid platform has the advantage). Anyway the most important part is traffic, no matter you are using free or paid service.

I learned different kind of approach on how to blog and what people blogs. Some, blogs about their private life, daily routine, expression, make money online (this is the top niche), 'syok sendiri', marketing their product or business and just for fun. There are also politics blog, Google Adsense blog (which boomed past few years), gossip, artist and art blogs.

But there were a post by Labanon which made me rethink about blogging. He mentioning about the satisfaction of blogging (writing), not just for money. If you do it with passion, the pleasure will be yours later on. No matter the main point is to earn money (money is not everything , but everything is money), still you have to do it with passion and soul. He got the point!

Personally, I'm still blogging to promote my business as I am full time businessman. I will put every effort to make sure my bank account filled up with RM, USD dollar, or GBP pound sterling. Besides blogging, I am now moving forward with my new making money skills- affiliate!
