I've done my own design for Muhasabah Trading promotional banner. Done manually using batik chanting technique..

Hope can boil the fabric (to remove the wax) by tomorrow coz I've applied the fixative (sodium silicate) and got to wait till it dry.

Pasar malam.. what so special?

Today I do business at pasar malam Pesta, Bakri, Muar. Killer pasar malam for me. I did photo shot here with the kebab guy, keropok lekor and 'ikang tuke' (apa ni??)
The kebab taste, sooo delicious, nyum, nyum... Keropok lekor .. no doubt (this is a product of JB, not Terengganu)... Ikang tuke.. no regret!

Batik are not for SALE

Another batik painting done last night. This is not for sale because of the crappy quality. I was thinking something else but when I'm doing it, all the ideas just goneas I still can't control the melted wax flow.

The other reason I didn't produce well is because I'm still an amateur batik maker. I should use pencil to do the trace on the fabric, but I didn't. So the lines are not tele as it should be, for perspective drawing. My architecture skills has turned 'rusty'. My chanting technique still need more improvement.

...It's not easy to produce batik lukis as I thought before. Batik Lukis asli Terengganu is one of the best in town!

Finally I start my business at Pasar Pagi Bukit Gambir Muar as usual, after a very long break since raya (I've been busy with eBay and lelong.com.my recently). When I get there, I went to see my friend who selling orchid flowers (plants) and chat with him. Then I come out of idea to snap photos of the orchids, upload them to my picture gallery for my batik lukis reference.

The flowers are attractive, colorful and beautiful - another creation from Allah The Almighty.
