Restart, refresh, reborn

I've been busy doing offline business recently. I've tried all my best to sell scarf (tudung) both online and offline. Anyway, Ramadhan just passed and it's time for me to FOCUS on my eBay and CaftanOnline.com . It's been a while since I started blogging as a semi pro but still didn't find the perfect path to focus and concentrate on making money online. Although I still make money from eBay and Lelong.com.my, it is my dream to make my revenue 80% online.



I just finished reading IM ezine #7 (MajalahIM #7 Bukan Calang-calang) and really admire with the main content - Interview with Alang, which for me, is absolutely brilliant! He shared his journey as an internet marketer and made huge amount of dollarsssss... Even I knew the concept of FOKCUS couple times before, but still most of my time wasted reading and learning new stuffs halfway. So I think it's time for me to FOCUS on physical product (done this ever since) and BidVertiser. I'd like to apply what Alang did to become really succesful IM..

Another article by Amirol Zolkifli in Question and Answer IM, really helping especially for those who are into internet business - discussed clearly.

An article by Irwan Dahlil, Kidino probably is quite 'alien' to us.. Two thumbs up for them! Another tutorials and tips also good and I really learned a lot for the latest edition of Majalah IM (#7).

Thanks a lot for Majalah IM #7, especially Labanon and crew members. Keep it up! Honestly, this review made not to put myself on the top list of best review. I learned something new, and there are lots of information shared. Only some of the articles doesn't really deliver the message. Probably they can be compressed into one. The 7th edition is more mature (especially they have concept and theme for the edition) and more experienced Malaysian internet marketer involved.
Mainly, I'm really happy with this edition. The team contributed very special contents compare to the unvaluable copies spread, which is FREE!!!

Thanks to all teachers, friends, lab assistant, makcik gemok and all cooks, kak Ros bilik sakit, guards, and the School itself. Without them, I probably not here, involve with rempit, dropped from education and dunno 1001 possiblities.

Award gila (crazy??) menjelangnya Syawal

I'm homed about 8.30am this morning. While passing by the mosque, I can see lots of cars parked along side the road, because they are doing the Syawal prayer (solat sunat Aidilfitri). I felt guilty for myself for not joining the muslims for the once a year prayer! What happen to you Samdaddycool?

Actually, I just came back from Parit Sulong, Batu Pahat after the final night of ramadhan ... I did open a stall at the Ramadhan Expo over there. Damn, that was my first experience at Parit Sulong on raya night! So many crowds, can't imagine all of them come back from city to celeberate the Hari Raya and do the last minute shopping (probably waiting for lelong items, kuih raya, songkok, tudung, baju kurung and melayu etc, etc..)

I reached Merlimau Petronas at 6.00am and accidently fast asleep inside the car - so knackered. Woke up at 8.00am.. (gosh!) with the kuckoo sound from my mobile.. got hari raya sms.. from my mate. So I unload all the stuffs from the car to the shop, hanging all the wet fabrics (heavy rain at 1.00am)... rushed back to Muar.. and thats it! I missed the Solat Raya.. (can't imagine I've missed quite a lots recently)

..... organize my account, and prepare some angpow for the kids and parents... then I surf the net... and I've been awarded "blog gila-gila' from Taukey.. kikikiki... what an award?

Adakah semua orang gila menjelangnya raya. Penyakit bawaan ini merupakan satu fenomena baru yang dikesan pada Syawal 1429 (2008) ini.. Mungkinkah bebanan hutang perabot baru, atau kereta baru, atau poket nipis sebab terlebih bajet? Aku pun kurang pasti... Yang pastinya, virus ini akan mula merebak dalam masa yang singkat sebab "wajib jawab"!!!

Sebenarnya ini hanyalah bawaan tag, takde kena mengena dengan penyakit anjing gila, mahupun orang gila isim. Penulis blog ini masih lagi waras, dan boleh melakukan rutin harian dengan sempurna (tapi kadang-kadang 'weng' juga kepala tak cukup tido...)

Commuters shocked by LRT collision

WHEN two Light Rail Transit (LRT) trains collided at the Bukit Jalil station on Wednesday evening, many regular train commuters were shocked as they have always considered the train to be among the safest mode of transport.

Now, many of them are wondering just how safe it is to be a passenger on board a train.

“We often hear buses and cars involved in accidents, but now trains have accidents, too. It is quite scary to think about it,” Amirul Rahman said.
Only way out: Passengers walking along the train tracks after climbing out of an LRT train after two trains collided at the Bukil Jalil Station, Seri Petaling on Wednesda y.

The 20-year-old, who was on his way home to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri, said he hoped the authorities would buck up on safety measures as many commuters like him travel in trains daily to the city.

His friend Nur Dayana Abdul Ghani, 20, said train drivers should strictly abide by the allowed speed limit.

“It is quite dangerous when the trains are driven at a fast speed and some passengers standing could lose their balance,” Nur Dayana said.

G. Nithya, 23, who commutes daily to a private university in Cheras from the Bukit Jalil station, said her mother had advised her to use other means of transport after reading news reports of the incident.

“She called me from Kedah and told me I should consider taking buses or taxis instead, as she fears for my safety,” she said.

Nithya, a final year biotech student, said it was fortunate that she had left for home in another train an hour earlier and so escaped the accident.

She said that taking trains was the most convenient for her as it was the cheapest mean of transport in the city.

“My university has a shuttle bus which stops at the Tasik Selatan station. Hence, it is convenient for me to get to class on time without hassle,” Nithya said.

She also said that checks on trains should be made regularly to ensure safety.

“Speeding and emergency breaks are quite often seen in trains and it is dangerous especially during peak hours,” Nithya said.
Buck up: Nur Dayana and Amirul Rahman said authorities concerned should improve their safety measures as many commuters like them commute in trains daily.

According to train commuters Leng Koon Fhuong and Tia Ai Ying, both 20, the train services should be closely monitored to ensure their safety.

“It involves the life of many people and things like this should not be taken lightly,” Leng said.

In Wednesday evening’s incident, about 300 people escaped serious injuries when a coach from Sungai Besi stopped suddenly about 200m from the train station before it was rammed into by another train from the rear on the same track.

Services at three stations - Sungei Besi, Bukit Jalil and Sri Petaling - were put to a halt after the 6.30pm incident.

Normal train service on the Ampang line resumed yesterday morning at 6am.

RapidKL general manager (communications) Ebi Azly Abdullah said the company had yet to find out the cause of the incident.

Ebi said that an interim report had been sent to the Transport Ministry while a team had also been appointed to conduct a full investigation on the incident
